Collections and remittance
Partial, grouped or foreign-currency payments, client credit balances and remittance batches per carrier and currency.
Policies live in one system, installments in a spreadsheet and commissions in another, and every month-end someone reconciles by hand. orbit erp brings an intermediary's or an insurer's operation into a single core, with the rules for premiums, endorsements, collections and commissions built into the system.
An insurance intermediary runs policies on a legacy system and everything else on spreadsheets. The tax on each installment doesn't match the carrier's policy schedule, an endorsement changes the premium but not the pending installments, a partial payment doesn't accrue the right commission, and remittances to each carrier are built by copying reference numbers. The same person shows up three times: as client, as agent and as beneficiary. Every close ends in a manual reconciliation nobody can audit.
A multitenant insurance ERP where contacts, policies, endorsements, work orders, collections, claims, commissions and sales share one rules core, delivered either as another tenant on the shared deployment or as a dedicated deployment on the client's own infrastructure, from the same onboarding manifest.
From accepted quote to settled commission, without leaving the case file.
Options from several carriers are compared side by side and the chosen one becomes an application, with the sales opportunity marked as won.
Once the carrier's policy number is recorded, the policy goes live, its installments are generated with tax rounded per installment, and the prospect becomes a client.
Each payment, partial or in another currency at that day's exchange rate, settles the installment and accrues the commission in proportion to what was collected.
Endorsements, renewals, claims with review alerts, carrier remittances and statements per counterparty, all on the same document.
orbit erp is the system of record: it enforces the rules but does not run the book on its own. It does not stamp CFDI e-invoices, does not cover anti-money-laundering, reinsurance or tax withholding on commissions, does not rate online with carriers and does not fetch exchange rates automatically. The surcharges and percentages in its template are starting references to be adjusted with each client's real data. Today it runs with demo organizations and no clients operating.
The parts of an insurance operation that live in separate files today.
Partial, grouped or foreign-currency payments, client credit balances and remittance batches per carrier and currency.
Agreements by person, agent code, carrier or line, accrual at issue or at collection, chargebacks on cancellation and statements.
Increase, decrease, non-financial, cancellation and reinstatement, with installments aligned to the policy calendar.
Requirements by claim type, itemized claims and alerts such as loss at policy inception or with overdue installments.
Each person exists once, with their roles as client, agent, vendor or beneficiary, and can be merged if duplicated.
REST API per tenant with its own keys and signed webhooks, under the same rules as the interface.
What changes when the rules live in the system and not in the team's memory.
Request demoPremiums are calculated in whole cents and any rounding difference against the policy schedule stays visible, never hidden.
The policy-schedule total is captured and the adjustment is logged with a reason in the audit trail.
A reversal is a mirror entry, and every accrual has a source key that prevents duplicates.
Health, card and bank data are visible only to those with permission, and never leave through the API or webhooks.
The same onboarding file creates an isolated tenant or a dedicated deployment with its own database.
The same operation, before and after orbit erp.
One platform with two editions; each organization also chooses which modules to turn on.
Books across several carriers: they collect commissions, remit premiums and follow up on claims with the carrier.
It pays commissions to its agents, keeps reserves through movements and authorizes claim payments with an adjudication.
